Stairwells, corridors, entrance halls and landings take more wear than anything in a private home, and they are decorated while people are still living there.

The work has to be planned around residents. Access stays clear, fire doors stay operable, and nothing is left blocking an escape route overnight. We work in sections so no one is cut off from their own front door.

Finishes that take the traffic

Durable finishes matter more than they do elsewhere — scuff-resistant and washable coatings on the lower levels, because a communal wall gets touched a hundred times a day.
