Some surfaces and some buildings need more than standard paint. Fire-retardant systems, anti-mould coatings for damp-prone areas, hygiene finishes for food-preparation and clinical spaces.

We specify these with the manufacturer's technical team rather than guessing, so the product matches the substrate, the environment and the regulation it has to satisfy.

Where it applies

Fire protection. Intumescent and fire-retardant coatings for escape routes, communal areas and structural elements where the building's fire strategy requires it.

Damp and mould. Anti-mould systems for bathrooms, kitchens, basements and any space where condensation is a recurring problem. Treating the surface without addressing the cause is a temporary fix — we'll say so if that's what we find.

Hygiene environments. Washable, cleanable systems for kitchens, healthcare and food-preparation areas.

Colour matching available to BS 4800, RAL and NCS — the standards most local authority, education and healthcare specifications are written to.
