Handover work runs to someone else's programme. The decorating is near the end of the build, the date has usually already moved, and the finish is what the client sees first when they walk in.

We work to the site programme, price from drawings and schedules, and snag properly rather than leaving a list for someone else. Where trades are still working around us we phase it so the finished rooms stay finished.
